Mats Lanner wins his second win at the Madeira Island Open in Santo da Serra.
Mats Lanner, who had already won at Madeira in 1994, did not hide his excitement by beating New Zealander Stephen Scahill by throwing a superb shot of recovery from the bunker in the last hole.
The Swede made a total of 277 strokes with 70, 66, 68 and 73 laps, beating Stephen Scahill (278) and Englishman Andrew Beal (279).
