Welshman Bradley Dredge was the winner of the XI Madeira Island Open at Santo da Serra
Bradley Dredge was the grand winner of the 11th edition of the Madeira Island Open Golf, held annually at the Santo da Serra Golf Course.
The Wales player finished 272 strokes (16 under par) and beat all opponents by eight strokes of difference. In the third round Dredge made 60 strokes (-12), the lowest result ever made in the Serra da Serra.
In second place was a trio composed by Swedish Fredrik Anderson Hed and the British Brian Davis and Andrew Marshall with a total aggregate of 280 strokes (-8).
