The Santo da Serra Junior Golf School follows throughout the school year every Saturday and Sunday from 09am to 17pm. Our juniors are grouped into different classes depending on their age, golf knowledge and ability. Each group (with a maximum of 10 pupils) enjoys a golf lesson of 90min once a week. The classes are monitored by two golf teachers.
The club organizes golf tournaments year-round. There are two rankings that run throughout the school year: Circuito BPI Júnior Clube de Golf Santo da Serra and the Circuito Júnior Madeira. Both have different level tournaments (18 holes, 9 holes, 6 holes, 3 holes and Chip & Putt).
Apart from these golf schools the Club is also developing another project, the Competition Project. This is aimed at supporting the most promising junior golf players, with a more intensive training schedule that looks at achieving high quality golf on a medium and long-term basis.
Clube de Golf Santo da Serra is also promoting another project, which runs throughout the year, called “Golfe na Escola” - Golf at School. The objective is to take golf to a wider audience in the local high schools of Machico and Santa Cruz.
